Major types are chevre and ewe’s milk. Chevre means cheese made from goat’s milk. It smells strongly. Ewe is female sheep. Ewe’s milk cheese is made very well because there are too many sheep in New Zealand.
New Zealand’s ice-cream is especially popular among the foreigners. Unlike the Japanese one, New Zealand’s ice-cream is very mild and creamy. Sprinkling vanilla ice-cream with caramel crunchy is called horkey-pokey ice-cream. It is very famous. The amount of ice-cream consumption a year is 26 liter. It is four times Japan.
